Who is Pandora?
At 33 years of age, Pandora, a paramedic, transplant professional and nationally recognized dominant, has been active in the leather lifestyle for 9 years and is associated with Behind the Scenes, Labrys Play Group, The Tannery, Black Rose, NJ Andromeda and Lesbian Sex Mafia. Her interests include hot boys and bois in uniform, cigars, rope, corsets, creative discipline, piercing and edge play. Pandora is the current Ms Philadelphia Leather and now Ms World Leather 2004. Sponsored by Jim Madden and The Bike Stop, she is the youngest Ms World Leather in the contest's history as well as the first Ms World Leather to have a non-disease platform.
With a worldwide critical shortage of transplantable organs, Pandora's platform of organ donor awareness is not only timely, but beneficial to all, in leather or not. Her message is widely distributable, and involves educating the public about donation, correcting misconceptions, and creating a greater willingness to share life with others.
This year's Ms World Leather beneficiary is the Coalition on Donation, a not-for-profit alliance based in Richmond, VA --
Statistics on Donation and Transplantation in the U.S.
More than 86,000 men, women and children currently await life-saving transplants (as of 8/1/04.)
Every 13 minutes. another name is added to the national transplant waiting list.
An average of 17 people die each day waiting for a transplant.
Organs and tissues from a single donor can extend and enrich the lives of up to 50 people.
The majority of Americans (85%) support organ donation, yet fewer than half choose donation when a loved one has died. One of the most common reasons cited is that family was unaware of their loved one's wishes concerning donation.

First and foremost -- Decide to be a donor and share your decision with friends and loved ones. Even if you don't believe in donation, take the time to share your decision with your loved ones. It's my own personal experience that when and if that incredibly hard decision comes before them, loved ones truly appreciate having had prior knowledge of their intent concerning donation. It takes less than 15 minutes to have a conversation to sign your donor card and share your decision.
Show your support of organ and tissue donation by wearing my Awareness Pin! $5 buys you the pin.
Support the Coalition on Donation through financial contributions or through volunteering with your local Coalition partner.
