ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLES OF MICHIANA In the spirit of supporting our alternative lifestyle communities in a positive manner while at the same time having a bit o' fun ALM is proud to announce its very first Charity Raffle and Bar Night! Working in conjunction with A Leather Day of Caring initiated by Karen McGee and Jill Carter and with the support, encouragement and donations of many wonderful individuals and groups within our alternative lifestyle communities ALM will be holding a Bar Night. All monies received before and during the Bar Night will be presented to Indiana Still Cares by or on the target date of April 19th 2003. All non-perishable food and clothing items will be donated to the Damien Center by the same target date of April 19th 2003. This night is dedicated not only to collecting much needed donations and monies for HIV/AIDS victims but also as a way to come together as a community and show the world that we do care!
Location: Truman's Night Club Date: April 5th Time: 8pm-1am Cost: Truman's does have a regular cover charge at the door of $3.00 on Sat. nights. While that does not go to support our charity of choice it will support the bar and give persons attending a chance to see one of the best drag shows in the area! Truman's does sponsor a leather night on the first weekend of the month. Wear your leather and you can forego the cover charge! We ask that those who can bring a few canned goods or non perishable food items. Gently used clothing donations will also be accepted. Raffle tickets and donations will be collected and sold until the raffle drawing on the evening of April 5th.
