AIDSCARE RAFFLE Curious how $5 can feed the homeless as well as get you and a friend to the beaches of Jamaica? To celebrate Ms World Leather's National Leather Day of Caring, Club Quest, is proud to sponsor a raffle to benefit AIDSCARE of Chicago. Tickets cost $5 with a limited printing of only 3,000. The winning ticket will be pulled at the Leather Day of Caring party at The Cellblock-Chicago on April 19, 2003. Since the tragedy of September 11, 2001, AIDSCARE of Chicago has found its food budget cut by $10,000. The recent successful food drive hosted by Club Quest and supported by nearly all the leather clubs throughout Chicago made a difference to residents at AIDSCARE. As we begin 2003 the goal is to fill in the gap left in the AIDSCARE budget through the sales of the Jamaican Holiday raffle tickets. AIDSCARE of Chicago is one of the few charities that were eager to openly accept help from the Leather Community. Raffle tickets are available both inside Chicago and Illinois as well as in Michigan, California, Colorado, and North Carolina. The list of sellers continues to grow. Tickets will also be available at Vicious Valentine -VI. Information and locations to purchase tickets is available at www.leatherquest.com/events/aidscare_raffle.htm . The prize is a seven day trip for two to the winners choice of Hedonism III or Breezes, both all inclusive Jamaican Super Club Resorts. You can see it and feel it when you cross the threshold: this is a place where life is affirmed. It is a trusting, caring, welcoming environment with personal space for reflecting and relaxing, communal areas for sharing and growing, programs designed for healing and coping, an ongoing exchange between everyone who lives and works and visits here. In other words, AIDSCARE is a home. |
