THE CONTESTS

The Ms. World Leather Event has proven that it is unlike any event you have seen. Once again you will actually see the entire judging process, and our diverse judging panel will undoubtedly put the contestants through their paces. This year will prove to be even more exciting because we will be introducing the Mr. World Leather contest also.

While there will be no fantasy performance, the traditional formal leatherwear and speech competitions will be judged. Each contestant will deliver a 10-minute timed platform presentation regarding their particular platform as well as participate in a 10-minute open interview process. Contestants will meet the press on-stage and go through "Crossfire" a live, judged press conference. Crossfire includes a rapid-fire question and answer session with members of the press. A two minute timed speech will also be part of the judging process.

Each contestant will have an opportunity to convince the audience to make a donation to their chosen charity or donate funds to enable them to further their platform whether they win or not.  Additionally, the contestants will be vying for the votes (special issued chips to attendees) of the audience to cast their chip(s) for them, as the Audience Choice for Ms. World Leather 2006 and Audience Choice for Mr. World Leather 2006.
